What about if you fancy exploring the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales or the French Loire Valley, but you can't make one of our guided holidays?
Wrong dates, you want to bring a dog, you'd prefer to walk on your own or with your own friends or family rather than with a group that you don't know... all of these are excellent reasons for going for a self-guided holiday.
However, you don't want the hassle of sorting out routes, booking hotels or B& Bs, buying maps etc. etc., and who can blame you? Life's too short when someone else will do it for you, and that someone else is Knobbly Stick.
You can walk from one B&B or hotel to the next one, on a trail which we'll devise according to what you want, or you could stay in one place for 2 or 3 nights and then move on. As you can see, the possibilities are almost endless. Just give us a ring or contact us by email and we'll sort it out for you!
We'll find a series of hotels and B&Bs, arrange baggage transfer if you want, sort out phone numbers of taxi firms, get bus and train time tables - in fact, do all the homework for you. Best of all, we'll get you to tell us what sort of route or routes you want to do (how many miles per day, low level or high level etc.) and work out an itinerary just for you (and your party).linear and circular route details
