Corporate days out

Let us organise a day out on the hills for your work colleagues and guests, either in the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales. A walk in the open air is an ideal environment for people to get to know each other, network and socialise, and it's a lot cheaper than a high profile sports event, a night at the theatre or taking a group on a night out.

Our normal format is to arrive on a Thursday evening, have a few drinks together, have dinner and then spend the Friday out walking (or strolling, depending on how energetic your party is).

Drop us an email to discuss your requirements.

Pre-formed parties

If you have a pre-formed group, we can also help you with a guided or self-guided break in Northern England, the Loire Valley, the French Alps, northern France - the Opal Coast or Normandy. Just drop us a line, and remember, as a group, you will qualify for a discount.

Routes Less Travelled

Our Routes Less Travelled holidays are not so much walking holidays as visits to certain areas, involving some walking. We offer you the chance to explore the Flanders area of Belgium and the Pas de Calais in northern France, with its picturesque cities - Ghent, Bruges, Boulogne, Amiens, and its First World War connections - Ypres and Vimy Ridge, for example, and its surprisingly attractive countryside. If you are further interested in this, and we have a tour pencilled in already for the beginning of October - details will appear shortly - please get in touch.

The other main area you could visit for this type of holiday is the Loire Valley - a special part of the world with its châteaux and vineyards, and its wonderful spring and autumn climate. Visit with us the vineyards of Vouvray and Chinon, the modern troglodyte dwellings and the varied châteaux of Ussé, Villandry and Chinon, and one or two gentle walks to join the whole thing up. Contact us for further details.
