Knobbly Stick Walking Holidays
After eight years offering guided and self-guided walking holidays in the English Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, France and Ireland, the Knobbly Men have gone trendy and have decided to have a gap year.
This means we will not be organising any holidays - guided or self-guided - in 2010.
But we are working on other projects, including a series of guides and information packs for some of the best walks and trails we have done over the years. These are planned to be available from early 2010 and are designed to make planning and doing your own self-guided holiday much easier.
So, if you were thinking of arranging a self-guided walk or trek along the Dales Way, Cumbria Way, the Tour of the Lake District or anywhere else in the English Lake District or Yorkshire Dales, do not despair. We are also starting work on a project recounting some of our experiences as Knobblymen, the working title being something like "Knobbly Stick 2002 to 2009 - the Hard Years" or "It shouldn't happen to a Knobblyman." The eventual appearance of this will, of course, depend on whether anyone is willing to publish it!
